Where did the name come from?
I started telling the story of the "Three Little Pigs" with my
Granddaughter when she was about two and it soon developed into an
interactive story. My Granddaughter played the role of the pigs,
while I narrated and played the role of the wolf. There was always
a pregnant pause at , " there came a ..... knock at the door" and I
would wait for her to knock. After her reply, "Who is it?", I
bellowed out, "It's the big, bad wolf now let me
in" and she would squeal with delight.
Several year later, I discovered that my two-year-old Grandson
loves the story just as much as his older cousin. Everytime I see
my Grandson he finds something to knock on and looks at me for a
response. Thus, I became the Big, Bad Wolf.
